Elma Chamber of Commerce Presents Les Schwab Tire Center Business of the Quarter Award

The Elma Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors presented the Business of the Quarter Award, for the second quarter of 2017, to Kres Brown, Manager of Les Schwab Tire Center of Elma. Board members and chamber staff presented the plaque to Kres at the Elma Chamber General Membership meeting, held June 14 at Elma Grange.

Les Schwab Tire Center of Elma was presented the award based on enhancement to Elma and support of the business community. Since the company was founded more than 60 years ago, there have been several Les Schwab store designs. Kres said “with each evolution we set out to improve our crews’ ability to deliver the world class customer service our customers have come to count on. The Elma store had a complete remodel done in 2004. Most recently, we updated all of our furniture to provide an even more comfortable customer experience”.

Les Schwab was founded more than 60 years ago, and the Elma location opened in July 1997. There are currently 9 employees. Additional employees are hired based on customer needs.
