The Elma Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors presented the Business of the Quarter Award, for the third quarter of 2013, to Cut Rate Auto Parts of Elma.
President , Trish Whorton, presented the plaque at the Elma Chamber Meeting, September 11th held at the Guesthouse Inn & Suites.
Cut Rate Auto Parts was established in 1955. Tracy Leckenby, Larry DeMoss and Chuck Monte are the owners of the Elma store as well as a store in Aberdeen and Olympia. Cut Rate Auto Parts of Elma has 6 full time employees. The store is open 7 days a week until 7 p.m. except on Sunday. Cut Rate has been busy changing the lines of merchandise they carry to give customers better value and has added inventory so we don’t need to leave town.
Cut Rate supports the Elma community in a variety of ways. The store donates to multiple non-profit groups throughout the year. In addition they sponsor car shows throughout Grays Harbor and Thurston counties. The Elma Chamber especially appreciates the sponsorship Cut Rate Auto Parts has provided for our Heat on the Street Car & Motorcycle Show. They are our main sponsor and Larry said they are with us forever! We have the best goodie bags and prizes that even large shows can’t compete with. And Cut Rate Auto is a good neighbor located next door to the Visitor Station. We have called on Ron and the staff to assist us with multiple small projects and they are always eager and willing to help. Thank you Cut Rate Auto Parts!
