Each year the bank earmarks thousands of dollars to assist with local needs including, Chamber of Commerce, youth, sports teams, non-profit organizations, fundraising for the new hospital and Relay for Life. They are also annual supporters of the Elma Food Bank and United Way.
The Elma branch joined Timberland Bank in the fall of 2004 when the bank agreed to purchase seven branches from the former Venture Bank.
