Elma Chamber of Commerce Presents Elma Farm Stand & Public Market with Business of the Quarter Award

The Elma Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors presented the Business of the Quarter Award, for the second quarter of 2015, to Ryan Phillipi, Rick Bush and Renee Bush owners of Elma Farm Stand & Public Market. The plaque was presented during the Elma Chamber of Commerce membership meeting on June 10th at Elma Eagles.

Elma Farm Stand was presented the award based on enhancement to Elma and support of the community. The Farm Stand opened May 24, 2014 after extensive remodel to a former warehouse building. There are three full time employees and four part-time employees.

Ryan Phillipi said “We want Elma Farm Stand to be a destination stop much like you will find in other areas. The Farm Stand houses Vintiques by Venus, owned by Venus Beamish, which features many unique gift items. They also feature numerous local products and are making contacts with more local farmers to sell their produce and products.

Elma Farm Stand & Public Market supports the community in numerous ways. They donate to many of the non-profit organizations including Elma Chamber of Commerce, McCleary Bear Festival, Elma youth cheer, Vance Creek Park fishing derby and Elma Middle School. Ryan Phillipi is also a volunteer for Elma Chamber Winter Wine Festival.
